About me

Me, Yelyzaveta Romaniv
My name is Liza, I’m originally from Ukraine, and I’ve been living in Finland since 2022. I’ve always dreamed of becoming a dance teacher - and now, I finally feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
I’ve been dancing since childhood, with 14 years of professional experience in sports and ballroom dancing, countless competitions, and years spent training every single day. I’ve taught young children, earned a certification in functional training, and developed a deep understanding of movement and technique.
After a break from dance, moving to Finland reignited my passion. I started teaching Latina Solo, but it was High Heels that truly captured my heart. The freedom, the music, the emotion - it all just clicked. When I couldn’t find the kind of High Heels classes I believed in, I decided to create them myself.
Now, my focus is on building an inspiring, technically grounded space where every dancer feels confident, expressive, and at home.
My History

LI Space, How it`s started
Dance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I trained professionally in ballroom and sports dance, spending most of my youth in studios, on competition stages, and in masterclasses with international coaches. My identity was built on rhythm, discipline, and passion.
But for a few years, I had to step away from dance - until I moved to Finland. That shift gave me the clarity and courage to start over. I discovered High Heels, and instantly knew: this was my new path. I had never felt so connected to a style that combined femininity, artistry, and expressive power so freely.
I had always wanted a space where I could create, express myself, and share my artistic vision - so I built LI Space to make that dream real. What started as a single class has grown into a warm, supportive community, where I’ve gathered a circle of talented, like-minded individuals. And now we have a space where we inspire each other, grow together, and find freedom in both movement and identity.

My Philosophy

Art in Motion. Power in Precision.
Dancing in high heels is more than just learning moves. It’s about building confidence, feeling your body, and telling your story through movement.
My teaching is based on years of dance experience. I care a lot about good technique, musicality, and helping each dancer express who they are.
I focus on posture, control, and strength. I also guide students on how to dance with feeling and presence - not just do the steps.
Unlike many high heels classes that are only about looks or trends, my classes are thoughtful and well-structured. You learn real skills and grow as both a dancer and a person.
No matter your level, I’m here to help you not only improve - but also feel more connected to yourself through dance.
My Mission
Guiding dancers to connect with their bodies - both in and beyond the studio.
Creating a space where dance becomes self-discovery - where every student is free to express their true, unique self.
Building confidence by encouraging freedom in movement and self-expression.
Creating space to embrace femininity without fear or shame.
My Values
Fostering a joyful, uplifting environment that supports growth and creativity.
Encouraging students to take ownership, stay curious, and grow through self-motivation.
Honoring commitment, discipline, and respect - for the process, the teacher, and each other.
I value the trust my students place in me - and strive to lead with care, clarity, and consistency.
A supportive environment built on honesty, kindness, and open communication.
